Methods / baseline / propagation / limits

How SVET
Rating works.

This page says what the public SVET Index is, what the Daily Pulse is, and what the Plan 3 Continuity-Propagation Layer adds. The official score is still mvp-0.1. Propagation is a separate interpretation preview, not a full forecast.

Current public method

Official score first. Pulse second.

The public Telegram report uses two SVET views. The official view is the frozen mvp-0.1 baseline. It uses the 16 Metric method below and is the score of record. The second view is mvp-0.2-daily-pulse. It is a short daily check that shows Now => Forecast for I, II, III and IV.

The Daily Pulse is partial because some sources do not move every day. Execution and Staple can be missing from Pulse because their native data cadence is monthly. When data is stale, delayed or missing, the post must say so. It must not fill gaps with guesses.

Plain rule: Baseline is the official score. Pulse is a partial read. It is not a full forecast, not a trade signal and not financial advice.

Baseline

mvp-0.1 is locked. It calculates all 16 Metrics when source rules allow it. It is descriptive and archived.

Daily Pulse

mvp-0.2-daily-pulse is a preview. It shows near-term pressure by Composite, but it can be partial and must show missing inputs.

SVET Index Plan 3

Continuity is the thing being read.

Plan 3 defines SVET as a world-continuity instrument. Evernomics proposes that humans seek continuity beyond the present: continuity of self, family, assets, memory, relationships, institutions, meaning and future reach. The SVET World Index observes 16 Metrics across four nested Constructs, then separates what changed from how close that change has become to lived human continuity.

The official mvp-0.1 score still uses normalized Shannon entropy. Entropy detects the distributional pattern of each Metric. Direction, activity, alignment and data quality describe movement. The new Plan 3 idea is the Continuity-Propagation Layer: a separate interpretation layer that asks whether a change remains distant, travels inward step by step, or jumps directly into Tribe because the event becomes certain, authoritative, immediate and broadly salient.

Plan 3 rule: this is not a separate index and does not rewrite the official mvp-0.1 score.

Shannon detection

What changed in the distribution of each of the 16 Metrics?

World structure

Which Constructs are moving, in what direction, with what activity, alignment and quality?

Propagation

Does the change stay outside lived human reality, travel inward, or jump directly into near-self continuity?

Boundary

The public score remains descriptive. Plan 3 creates hypotheses to test, not proof of prediction.

Continuity-Propagation Layer

Distance and proximity are not the same.

Plan 3 keeps each event's origin Construct fixed, but allows its lived proximity to change. A Supreme event remains Supreme by origin. But if trusted institutions say an event is certain, soon, universal and actionable, it can become Tribe-level in lived continuity without waiting for every middle Metric to move first.

Stepwise route

Most events move inward through institutions and material life.

Supreme → Vanguard → Establishment → Tribe

Direct jump route

Some events bypass ordinary distance when credibility, certainty, immediacy, saturation, authority and action relevance align.

Supreme → Tribe; Vanguard → Tribe; Establishment → Tribe

Direct-jump variables

A direct jump is not just news coverage. Each event or high-level Metric change must separate seven observable variables: magnitude, credibility, certainty, immediacy, communication saturation, authority activation and personal relevance.

Pi = M * C * U * I * S * A * R

All variables start on a zero-to-one scale. All exponents start at one. These are frozen test parameters, not truths. The thresholds are test parameters, not truths, and must be changed only through a later approved method version.

Dynamic proximity

Base proximity is normally highest for Tribe and lowest for Supreme. Direct propagation creates dynamic proximity: DP = base_proximity + (1 - base_proximity) * Pi_to_Tribe. In plain terms, an outer-world signal can become near to human life when it gains enough credible, immediate and actionable force.

Construct state

Each Construct has its native condition plus incoming pressure from other Constructs. Tribe can receive a nature/existential signal from Supreme, an institutional/security signal from Vanguard, or a material/market/work signal from Establishment. These incoming pressures may be contained, stepwise, accelerated, direct or broad.

Contained asteroid

NASA changes a technical risk notice, but there is no emergency announcement, no broad public action and no change in household planning. Supreme changes; Tribe does not.

Direct asteroid jump

Trusted observatories confirm imminent risk, governments act, communication saturates, and families, markets, schools and workplaces change plans. Supreme jumps into Tribe.

AIM and VibePreneur use

Context signal, not command.

Inside Agentic Investment Market, Plan 3 gives agents a context signal for scenario formation, risk review and hypothesis testing. The internal feature is svet_finance_context_mvp-0.1. It reads official SVET entropy, Composite entropy, Metric direction, activity, alignment, data quality and propagation status, then produces a regime label rather than a trade instruction.

RegimeContinuity interpretationUse boundary
Continuity supportedOuter and inner systems appear broadly coherent.Review ordinary risk budgets under normal assumptions.
Continuity transitionDispersion or change is elevated, but direction and propagation are mixed.Widen scenarios and require sensitivity analysis.
Continuity pressurePressure signals propagate into material or Tribe-level conditions.Tighten liquidity, leverage, counterparty and financing assumptions.
Continuity restoration / expansionCredible stabilization or renewal appears across relevant Constructs.Test whether risk appetite and longer-horizon planning are returning.
Unknown / data-impairedMissing, delayed, proxy-active or unvalidated inputs prevent a responsible read.Reduce automation confidence and escalate to human review.
SVET is a context signal, not a command. No autonomous trade. No security recommendation. No funding approval or rejection. No suitability, legal or risk-control override.

Inside VibePreneur, Plan 3 maps each company to the continuity conditions it depends on. A founder receives a Continuity Exposure Profile with primary, secondary and lower-exposure SVET Metrics. The dashboard should show world continuity state, startup exposure, current movement, company sensitivity, recommended founder questions, evidence and confidence.

The founder output must generate questions and scenarios. It must not give deterministic advice. For example, a company exposed to Structure, Venture, Thrills and Trust should test runway, procurement and financing assumptions when institutional uncertainty or financial stress rises, while also checking disconfirming evidence from signed customer budgets or counter-cyclical demand.

SVET Index Improvenet Stage 2

Daily records for all 16 Metrics.

The daily record layer now exists for all 16 Metrics. Some sources are truly daily. Some are weekly, monthly or delayed. Every Metric still gets one daily record, and that record says if the value is fresh, lagged, carried forward, delayed, missing or proxy-active.

This makes daily, weekly and monthly graphs possible for every Metric. Troops now carries a current GDELT proxy beside the official delayed UCDP source. Full stats stay in the archive. The Telegram post gets only a small rotating stats pack so token and character limits stay safe.

Graph rule: daily charts can show every Metric every day, but they must mark fresh, lagged, carried, delayed, missing and proxy-active values.

SVET Index Improvenet Stage 2 review

Daily records work. Troops now has a proxy.

After the mvp-1.17 review, the mvp-2.1 Troops GDELT daily proxy adds a current GDELT DOC TimelineVolRaw conflict-pressure record to the Troops daily Metric record. The official Troops score still comes from UCDP, so mvp-0.1 score math did not change.

The latest local Metric report pack uses record version mvp-2.1. It keeps all 16 Metrics under the Telegram limit and marks Troops as UCDP missing with a current GDELT proxy record.

Ready

16 of 16 records exist. Troops now includes the mvp-2.1 proxy fields: source, date, value, article count, status and no-score-change flag.

Weak

Staple, Venture, Execution and Trust still need better current proxy records before any official method switch.

Next

mvp-2.2 Staple daily oil proxy: add a daily WTI/oil proxy record from FRED or EIA. It starts as a proxy record and does not replace mvp-0.1.

Plain rule: records and charts can improve now; official score math stays locked until source proxies pass review and owner approval.

Abstract

A world-system dispersion instrument.

SVET Rating describes how widely recent observations are distributed across four domains: Supreme, Vanguard, Establishment and Tribe. Each contains four Metrics. Every Metric is represented by one frozen numerical proxy from a free public source. The machine transforms the observations, constructs a trailing native-frequency window, divides the observed range into ten equal-width bins and calculates normalized Shannon entropy.

Four Metric entropies are averaged into each Composite. Four Composite entropies are then averaged into the total SVET Index. A low reading means recent observations were concentrated within their own range; a high reading means they were dispersed. Entropy is not welfare, morality, danger, momentum or expected return. Direction, activity and cross-Composite alignment are therefore calculated separately.

Scientific boundary: the daily machine works and its outputs are archived, but the proposition that SVET regimes predict BTC, Nasdaq or S&P 500 outcomes has not yet passed historical or prospective testing.

Provenance and authorship

Source theory versus implementation.

The owner-controlled manuscripts SVET World Index v3 and SVET World Index 3.0 (with Comments) define normalized Shannon histogram entropy, A–D grades, the seven-observation Metric direction sign, the 4×4 hierarchy and broad proxy families. The manuscripts do not completely define the bin count, windows, minimum samples, exact public series, missingness, aggregation weights, aggregate direction or validation design.

Those missing rules are explicitly labeled versioned mvp-0.1 decisions. They are not retroactively attributed to the manuscripts. Evernomics supplies the motivation of durable, intergenerational wealth stewardship; it is not proof that any asset grows forever and does not turn a rating into a recommendation.

Four-Composite architecture

Sixteen views of one system.

Composite I

Supreme

Superior, Verities, Evolution and Transformations: solar conditions, cultural-change attention, global temperature anomalies, and natural/biological threats.

Composite II

Vanguard

Structure, Voice, Empiric and Troops: political/institutional attention, research output, cultural breadth, and armed conflict.

Composite III

Establishment

Staple, Venture, Emotions and Thrills: resources, company capital formation, mobility/consumer activity, and financial stress.

Composite IV

Tribe

System, Vision, Execution and Trust: decentralized infrastructure, Bitcoin, new-business formation, and pooled risk capital.

The Telegram headings Nature, Science/Politics, Markets and Tribe/Crypto are a compact business-report crosswalk. They do not replace or recalculate the research Composites.

Operational data dictionary

Every Metric and its evidence.

Raw provider responses are retained with retrieval times and checksums. Where provider terms restrict redistribution, the public layer exposes definitions, aggregate observations, scores and provenance rather than republishing unrestricted raw feeds.

Formal calculation

From observations to one rating.

1 / Histogram

For a transformed trailing window X, take its minimum and maximum and form ten equal-width bins. Let ci be each bin count and pi = ci/T.

X = {x1 … xT}; n = 10

2 / Shannon entropy

Sum only occupied bins. A nonempty constant window receives zero.

H = −Σ pi log2(pi)

3 / Normalize

Divide by the maximum entropy of ten bins to keep every Metric on zero to one.

E = H / log2(10)

4 / Aggregate

Average four Metrics per Composite, then average the four Composites.

EC = ¼ΣEm; SVET = ¼ΣEC = ¹⁄₁₆ΣEm

Entropy grades

A0.00–0.25
B>0.25–0.50
C>0.50–0.75
D>0.75–1.00

A is lower dispersion and D is higher dispersion. Neither is automatically good or bad. Stable progress, stable decline and inactivity can all be low entropy; productive diversity and destructive turbulence can both be high entropy.

Direction

A Metric direction is +1 when the current transformed value is above the arithmetic mean of the preceding seven valid native observations, −1 when below, and 0 for an exact tie or insufficient history. The current observation is excluded from that mean. Composite direction is the sign of its four-Metric direction vote; total direction is the sign of the four Composite directions.

Activity percentile

Each Metric declares an interpretable activity value—such as flux, fatalities, price, funding, TVL or passenger ratio. Its tie-aware midrank against prior observations is:

P = (number below + 0.5 × number equal) / number in prior window

High activity means unusual activity relative to that Metric's own history, not a beneficial outcome.

Alignment

Cross-Composite alignment is A = (dI + dII + dIII + dIV) / 4, ranging from −1 to +1. Alignment strength is its absolute value. all_up and all_down require unanimity across all four Composite directions.

Research hypothesis

What the Index may predict—and what it cannot yet claim.

The owner's theory is that a broad regime is more credible when natural conditions, institutions/knowledge, established markets and community/industrial systems move in alignment. Synchronized high activity and persistent positive alignment may mark a mature regime; depressed activity followed by persistent positive alignment may mark recovery. These statements are hypotheses, not buy/sell rules.

The proposed primary test asks whether lagged four-Composite alignment improves 90-day forward-return forecasts for BTC, Nasdaq and the S&P 500 beyond ordinary market predictors and Composite III alone. Secondary outcomes include 30/180-day returns and maximum drawdown.

Current status: no target outcomes have been loaded and no backtest has been completed. The production Index is descriptive and provisional, not a validated forecast, causal model or personalized financial advice.

Daily production and audit trail

One calculation, two interpretations.

  1. The runner checks every free public source and stores response bytes, URL, retrieval time and checksum.
  2. The canonical score uses the latest completed UTC day; the 6:00 a.m. Pacific report normally uses that completed day.
  3. Each source is parsed and transformed according to the frozen data dictionary.
  4. Sample and freshness checks attach quality flags; source failures never become invented zeros.
  5. Deterministic code calculates 16 Metric scores, four Composite scores and the total. This numerical step uses no LLM and zero OpenAI tokens.
  6. SQLite, CSV, JSONL and immutable JSON preserve formula/code versions, run ID and result hash.
  7. The Telegram model writes only the narrative. Code inserts and validates the exact stored score lines before posting.
  8. The final post is archived with model usage, response ID, Telegram ID, Index run and hash.

Freshness

Service-level ages are 3 days for calendar-daily, 5 for business-daily, 45 for monthly and 120 for delayed-release series. Values within the limit may be carried with their date; values outside it become unavailable.

The operational pipeline can still calculate when all historical series exist but current observations are stale. It retains the last Metric score and labels the total calculated_with_unavailable_inputs. Such output is a provisional business view, not a quality-passing confirmatory research observation.

Known launch limitation: Troops, Venture and Trust were unavailable. UCDP has a long official lag. SEC Venture/Trust are created as business-day series from quarterly bulk files, while the operational freshness check currently treats them as business-daily. That mismatch must receive a new approved source/freshness version; it will not be silently patched or used to rewrite history.

Validity and interpretation limits

What could make the signal wrong.

  1. Construct validity: one proxy cannot exhaust a philosophical Metric. Wikipedia attention is not truth or politics; TSA travel is not global emotion; Bitcoin is not all crypto.
  2. Histogram sensitivity: entropy changes with windows, bin count, outliers and the rolling minimum/maximum.
  3. Publication/revision bias: weather, economics, SEC and conflict sources arrive on different schedules and can be revised.
  4. Geographic/platform bias: multiple proxies are U.S.-only or English-web measures.
  5. Selection risk: attractive proxies and baskets can be chosen to fit a story unless frozen before outcomes.
  6. Temporal leakage: latest-revised values may differ from what was public at a prediction origin.
  7. Interpretation risk: entropy is not direction, desirability, causation or return.
  8. Statistical power: unanimous regimes may be too rare for decisive testing.
  9. Propagation risk: attention is not truth, authority activation is not objective danger, and a direct-jump story must not become a validated forecast without historical event tests.

Change control

mvp-0.1 is deterministic and immutable. Corrections append new source/formula versions; rejected runs remain visible. A more complex model is accepted only if it improves a preregistered out-of-sample criterion and remains interpretable. The language model has no numerical role.

Plan 3 safeguards

  1. Do not confuse attention with truth.
  2. Do not confuse official announcement with objective danger.
  3. Do not force every event into a universal reading.
  4. Do not rewrite mvp-0.1.
  5. Do not claim mind-reading.
  6. Test the direct-jump rule with historical event studies.
